Research Partners

Bring us a question worth answering.

We work with labs, institutions, and independent researchers who want to run studies on synthetic populations, and publish what they find. You bring the hypothesis and the domain. We bring the substrate, the methods, and a commitment to write up the parts that didn’t work.

What Research Partners Get

Access to the simulation substrate

Run studies on PersonaGen's six-layer synthetic populations: psychometrically grounded, multi-model backed, and large enough to stratify. Not a demo account. The same infrastructure our own papers run on.

Co-authored, publishable work

We publish our methods and open our architectures. A research partnership is designed to end in something citable, with your name on it and ours beside it.

Methods, not just outputs

You get the generation pipeline, the validation approach, and the failure modes we already know about. A result you can't interrogate isn't a result.

Replication support

Seeds, configurations, and population snapshots, so a finding can be re-run rather than taken on trust. We would rather be checked than believed.

Who This Is For

Academic labs

Computational social science, behavioural economics, psychology, and public health groups who want a population they can run an experiment on before running it on people.

Independent researchers

People pushing on synthetic cognition, agent-based modelling, and LLM evaluation who need infrastructure they don't have budget to build.

Policy and public-interest research

Institutes testing how a policy, a message, or an intervention lands across a population before it reaches one.

How It Works

01

Tell us the question

Not the deliverable, the question. A 30-minute call to work out what you are actually trying to find out and whether simulation is the right instrument for it.

02

We design the study together

Population shape, stratification, controls, and what would count as a negative result. We agree on how you'd know the answer is wrong before we generate anything.

03

We run it

You bring the domain expertise and the hypothesis. We bring the substrate, the orchestration, and the validation harness.

04

We publish it

Findings, methods, and the parts that didn't work. Negative results get written up too. They are the ones that tell you where the instrument stops.

What We Ask in Return

That the work is published. Not necessarily with us, and not necessarily favourably, but published. A synthetic population is only worth anything if the field can check what came out of it.

That the limits travel with the findings. Simulation gives you the trend, not the market share. We say that in our own papers and we would want a partner to say it too.

That we can say what we don’t know. We are a small team working on young methods. If a study finds the instrument isn’t good enough for the question, that is a result we want to write down rather than bury.
